On the morning of Monday July 18, 2016 PAN met with U.S. State Department official Todd Haskell, Deputy Assistant Secretary in the Bureau of African Affairs. Along with PAN Co-Founders attending were colleagues and PAN Advisors Jorge Manguane and Kad Kaneye.

On evening of Monday July 18, 2016 at #MandelaDay event. PAN Co-Founders Hashim Siraji and Leonard Tshitenge spoke at the event hosted by Hult African Identity (HAI) student group in honor of Nelson Mandela on his birthday July 18, 2016. Washington Mandela Fellows, a Young African Leadership Institute (YALI) program from U.S. State Department were in attendance and networked with PAN.
